Grumpy White's is Quincy's hidden gem. It is a small bar and resturant located on Sea St. It has a diner feel with great all American food. Thier menu ranges from hamburgers and subs to fresh seafood entrees and pork back ribs. I only go in lunch and my favorite thing to get is the grilled cheese cheeseburger. It comes on a delicous grilled bread with cheese melting out of the sides. The portion is very reasonable for the price, it is only $6.95 and you get french fries and a side salad. My friends and I go there sometimes on Wensdays before we have to go to work and have always had a great time. The bartender Paula is always friendly and is very personable. She makes very good drinks but they are not the type of place that does specialty cocktails. It is more of a beer and mixed drinks place. Although it does not draw in a young crowd the older crowd at the bar keeps us well entertained. They range from 40 to 80 and can drink like they are 21. One lady imparticular is 80 years old and goes there twice a week and each time she always comes in with mini gifts for the staff and the people at the bar. Last Wensday she came in and made little turkey cookies for everyone for thanksgiving. They also have a Keno machine that will suck you in everytime. Everyone that sits at the bar plays and get me and my friends hooked on it everytime we go. We never end up winning more than $4 but it is fun to play along with them.
If you are looking for a place to go with good food and a happy atmosphere I recommend going to Grumpy White's. Its a laid back environment with pleasant staff and is always gfilled with great people who make it a great experience every time you go.

Rustic Kitchen at Derby Street Shoppes
Rustic Kitchen is an Italian Bistro at Derby Street in Hingham. I went on a Saturday night and had a great experience. We got some appetizers to start, mac and cheese bites and a sausage pizza. The mac and cheese bites were absolutely delicious, they were mac and cheese rolled in bread crumbs and then fried with a tomato puree.

For dinner I got the tempura fried shrimp appetizer that was sauteed with chili peppers, arugula, and snap peas. It was more than enough food to eat as an entree and was very delicious, but you need to like spicy food to get it.

My aunt got a half order of the shrimp and scallop spaghettini. It had sauteed shrimps and scallops with a white wine garlic sauce. It also had some sauteed cherry tomatoes. The half order was a great size to get because the full order is a lot of food that you probably wouldn't eat. The flavor of the dish was wonderful and it had a good amount of shrimp and scallops in it to complement the pasta.

My mother got the baked stuffed lobster tails. This was absolutely delicious and came with a crispy chive potato cake, sauteed spinach, and a dill creme fresh sauce. She got a good sized lobster tail and the stuffing in it was very tasty.
We had a great experience at Rustic Kitchen and will continue to go there. The service was wonderful and the decor of the restaurant is beautiful, giving it a very rustic feel. Check out Rustic Kitchen's website to find out more about the restaurant and their other locations.

Big Papi's Grille

Big Papi's Grille is located in Framingham, MA and is owned by David Ortiz, also known as Big Papi. This is a great restaurant to check out if you're a Red Sox fan because there is sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is very classy with black and red. It is considered an upscale, yet casual restaurant. They have a variety of menu items from steaks and burgers to salads and seafood. The prices vary. For instance you can get a burger for $9.50 and you could also get a Filet Mignon, 10 oz for $29.50. The food is great, I've been here twice and had great food and service both times! It's definitely a great place worth checking out if you ever in the Framingham/Natick area and its located on Rt. 9, right near the Natick Collection.

Marshfield Tavern
The Marshfield Tavern is located on the Proprietors Green, a newly developed area in Marshfield. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was about half full, but by the time that I was leaving the bar area was full and so was the dining area. I had a burger with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and sauteed mushrooms. The burger was very big and all the toppings were delicious, but I ordered the burger medium rare and it came out well done. The bartender was very nice and friendly and the ambiance was relaxing. Although I didn't get the lobster roll, the person I went out to lunch with had it. It had a huge amount of lobster meat in it and it didn't have a ton of mayonnaise and the price was reasonable for the amount of food, at $15.99.
I had a good experience at Marshfield Tavern and would go back again, next time I probably wouldn't order the burger though. I recommend for people to go and check out this new restaurant in a nice area. Go to Marshfield Tavern's website to take a look at their menu and learn a little bit more about the restaurant.

The Chicken Bone Saloon

The Chicken Bone is located in Framingham, Ma near downtown Framingham. It is a dive bar that has great wings! On Monday and Wednesday they offer "all you can eat wings" for $8.00 . It is offered from 7 to 9 and they require you to buy a beverage, which goes great with a beer! It's definitely a great place to check out when a game is on, like Monday night football or the Celtics. The wings are delicious. They offer a variety of flavors and you truly can't beat the price of "all you can eat". The place gets very crowded so if you go with a alot of people, you want to get there early so you can grab a table. Phantom Gourmet even reviewed the place and considers The Chicken Bone to be one of the best places to get wings!
